Y Sospan, Local Dining in Snowdonia

Built in 1606 Y Sospan is thought to have started life as a local jail and court house to small time criminals in snowdonia, The now downstairs Restaurant is where the criminals were jailed whilst awaiting prosecution which would take place in now the upstairs Restaurant. The 'Y Sospan' Still has many of its original features and is great for Local Dining in Snowdonia

Caramelised Red Onion and Camembert filo parcel served On a Bed of salad leaves   

King Prawns grilled with garlic butter served with chilli Jam and crisp salad leaves.    

Creamy Garlic Mushrooms served with crispy garlic bread.                                         

Duck in filo basket~ slow roasted duck breast with green Onion in an oriental hoi- sin sauce served with dressed salad

Slow Braised Welsh Lamb Shank in red wine, served with braised vegetable and creamed Potatoes, Finished with a rich red wine jus

Local Welsh Fillet steak Royale cooked to your liking served with a coarse grain mustard and Drambuie sauce.

12oz Thick Cut Gammon Steak topped with sliced tomato and Grilled Cheddar Cheese

Local Welsh Minted Lamb Leg steak served on a bed of creamed Leek Mashed potato and Onion gravy
